iPad 2.0 – My Wishes

There is but one thing I really want at the moment. That being the iPad. It is an invention I have always dreamed of having, but never thought it would come into existence at this stage.

Now, I know the iPad’s been out for nearly a year now, and the reason I HAVEN’T bought it, even though I have been tempted, is that I NEVER buy first generation apple products. NEVER.

So anywho, the iPad 2.0 WILL be bought if it has the following features:

  • Retina Display! Now, I know its not going to be 326PPI like the iPhone 4, but I expect, and hope, that they will double the iPads pixel count in both directions (affectedly quadrupling the iPad’s pixel count). Doubling the iPad’s current resolution will equal 2048×1536 pixels! Nice!
  • USB! USB USB USB! Seriously, I really hope they put a usb port on the next-gen iPad, it’ll increase it’s functionality as a work based or educational device.
  • A front facing camera. VGA quality is all thats needed, anymore would be an unneeded extra. This would, of course, be to enable facetime calls; this being a fun/educational/work based device, it makes sense to incorporate a camera for video calls.
  • Spec upgrades! The current iPad only has 256mb’s of ram, whilst my iPhone 4 has 512mb! So, I hope that the iPad2 either gets an upgrade to 512mb at either the same speed or higher, or gets 1gb. 1gb makes more sense. Along with this, will of course be a cpu updgrade. More energy efficient whilst being faster, ORRRRR, making it dual-core. Either way.
  • A horizontal dock connector! Currently there is only a dock connector on the bottom whilst holding the iPad in portrait orientation, and I hope they put one on either of the landscape sides.

OMG GUYS! The Lonely Island are back again, and hopefully, are even better then last time! The Comedic-Music trio are bringing out a new album in 2011, and to celebrate and promote that fact, have released the promotional single from said album on YouTube! Titled, “I Just Had Sex (Feat. Akon)”, the song reminds of everything good about The Lonely Island, and gets me super duper excited for the new album!

O and it comes in 1080p, which always gets me wet! Yay for letting you in on inappropriately-discussed in public things. Or something like that.

Hey Guys! Welcome back to the reanimated version of the section I created back in August! This time, however, it will run for more then three iterations, and will hopefully become a good source for awesome content I find on YouTube. So without further ado, here is this week SGoY (Something Good on Youtube):

Also! Because your mother and I are such good friends, I thought this week I’d share a little summin’ summin’ with you! I was bored tonight, and made a sick beat in Fruity Loops; proceeding to post said beat onto YouTube. So this week, is a double SGoY, because I’m obviously something good on YouTube. Right?

Next up on the posting list will be this Sunday. It’ll be some kind of weekly wrap-up, wherein I’ll give an overview of what went down week wise in a much more concise form. I’ll obviously include some kind of link to the full articles.

Baby I’m Back; Back With a Vengeance!

Woah guys! What are you doing in my room? Wait what, this isn’t my room? Is this is some kind of online diary/trash-can/proverbial junkyard? Is this the place that all kittens and manner of cute things come to die when they’re sick? Could this be the hellish playground that spawns an endless number of fiendish devil underlings? Or, if your not completely high from sniffing lead-based paint, this place could simply be a blog, run and governed by a 16 year old Australian boy; writing whimsical whatnots whilst waiting wishfully in wake of the sudden realization, that he might actually have some interesting things to talk about. Whatever the case may be, and whatever it is that I or others may be smoking at any given point in time; PITHBLOG IS BACK BABY! And as the title may suggest, with a fucking vengeance!

Now I know, I can hear you all saying, “Hey dick-lips, stop talking and acting cool and give us some fucking content!”. So ONWARDS WITH CONTENT!

So for those that don’t know, I now attend the Gippsland Education Precinct (GEP) in Churchill; the valiant sanctum that will house my (sometimes) overpowering thirst for learning. Now at first glance, this piece of information doesn’t seem to exciting. But if you shut the fuck up, sit back, and let me finish talking before you interrupt me again, then you might find it more exhilarating. So, in light of your previous interruption, I’ve prepared a dot point summary on, “Why the GEP is so awesome”, instead of the twelve-hundred word thesis I had originally planned:

  • Uniform. Or, stated in more detail, the lack thereof. It’s so awesome being able to rock up to school in board-shorts and thongs, and NOT have teachers flipping their shit.
  • Super flexible timetables. Having the amount of students the GEP has makes it really easy to get all the classes you want. And it’s not like other schools where General Maths is in say block 4; at the GEP it’s in blocks say 1-4, meaning typically smaller class sizes and greater customization!
  • A varied student demographic. Present at the school are students from: Churchill/Morwell Kurnai; Lowanna; Traralgon College; Lavalla; Flinders; and probably many more that I haven’t met yet. Even though I have only been going there for close to two weeks, my social circle has been vastly expanded.
And there is many more cool things about the GEP, I just can’t be bothered listing them and a lot of them can be assumed ;)
Alright enough text, heres some images!

There’s been some major design and directional changes here at PithBlog. Firstly, the new design comes from the current TPTComics design, tweaked to be homely to PithBlog of course. This was done because it looks pretty freakin’ sweet, but also to create a more unified look across the TPT brand.

Secondly is site direction changes. If you’ve been following this ‘ere blog for a while, you’ll know I’m a very sporadic blogger, and that my updates are few and far between. This WILL all change, mainly due to an intense brainstorm and discussion Bradleigh and I had. We’ve scheduled certain updates on certain days of the week for both websites; for Pithblog the schedule is: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday. Tuesday and Thursday will be normal blog days, Friday will be SGoY’s and Sunday a weekly wrap-up.

So in other words, expect 4 updates a week, conveniently placed so that between tptcomics and pithblog, we’ll update every day bar Saturday.

Alrighty, expect future posts to be more clear and concise; this one being more of an introductory blog post.

It’s Been A While. Quite The While

Why do you people still come to this blog? Like seriously, there’s been no update for pretty much a month, yet a semi-constant stream of people have continuously gazed at this abominable mess! What is wrong with you people! Avert your gaze!

I know a lot of you have been expecting me to create some kind of epic China blog montage. And I’m not going to do that. Ever. At least not on pithy-d dot com. My current plan is to develop an awesome website, dedicated to the awesome trip that was. It’s currently under *VERY* slow to non-existent development. And you’ll find it up your mothers asshole. Or, more appropriate for all past, present, and future situations, at www.chinatrip2010.com. Going there now will present you with a fairly sick countdown timer for December 1st, the first deadline for the site opening.

Hmm, what else has been happening? Besides kicking YOUR cat, I recently got my L’s (for the foreign visitors, that’s my learner drivers license). And I’ve already been racking up some serious hours drivin’ the ol’ van. It’s a lot easier then some think, the scariest part being mum yelling in my ear; slow down! Indicate now! Don’t run over too many kids! So anywho, the drift is what you catch!

Then there’s that infernal game box machine thingo. You know, that thing that alot of people play their games on? The one that has superior graphics and media handling? The one that has 8 cores? The one that has FREE multiplayer. The PS3. The best. Aside from that intense introduction and description, I’ll be telling you about one epic game in particular. Call of Duty: Black Ops. It’s fairly fucking epic, and lately it’s been chewing through a vast majority of my time. My current weapon of choice would be the Famas with a reflex sight, or a Galilli (sp?) with a similar attachment.
