I’ve known for a while that a good friend, Zara Firmin, would be leaving to go to Germany on exchange. Yet you don’t really realize how much you miss someone till you know that you won’t see them for close to a year. Although, I’m sure for some older readers one year isn’t that big of a gap for not seeing someone, relatively to me. But when your used to seeing their smiling face every day at school, its hard to comprehend how they would ever not be there. It’s just like their having a day off school; you get that sad feeling when you look around at form group, at class, before school, and find their not there; except its every single day. Although she hasn’t officially left yet, the knowledge that I haven’t got a guaranteed chance of seeing her between now and January makes me sad.

Anyway, half the reason I created this blog was so she had a chance to catch up on things happening in my life, friends lives, and the goings-on at Kurnai. Heck, I might even give her a user account here so she can make her own informative posts. But thats only if she’s really, really luck

The other half of my reasoning to creating this grand blog, is that I LOVE writing about nonsensical shit. There is nothing better then sitting down for an hour, and typing about any random crap that comes to mind. I even write down random articles on my ipod touch, now thats dedication!

The weekend is now pretty much  over in Australia, but tomorrow, for me atleast, the holidays officially start. I say bring them on, I’m loving life currently
