Love. What is love? What do you define as love? Do I know what love is? Do YOU know what love is? Should we know?Or is this one of those things we think we know, but in reality we have no clue? Can I ask anymore questions in this post? Do you know the answer? Yes. The answer is yes.
So love. It can make you do some crazy things apparently. Things you normally wouldn’t do, but when your in love it’s like, “Fuck it, I’ll wake up at 7 in the morning and run to the other side of town and see my girlfriend for 5 minutes; just so I can say goodbye one last time, because she’s going away.” In that situation, normally I’d be like, screw gettin’ up that early, I’ll just send them a goodbye text. But when your in love suddenly saying goodbye becomes this big thing, and you feel compelled to do normally unusual things.

But it’s not just normal things that become abnormal – but also the opposite. Abnormal things become normal. For instance; Greetings and Farewells. When your single, a simple handshake or innocent hug is enough of a greeting or farewell. But when your with someone, and also in love, those just seem inadequate. Greetings turn into kisses, farewells turn into a wrestle with your own heart; your heart not wanting you to leave – your brain making you because you have to. Why must my brain always win? Stupid brain doing it’s job

Love makes you happy. It’s a proven fact. When your around that special person, your brain releases endorphins that make you HAPPY!!! Join that in conjunction with some friends and even a party, and you have the potential for one of the best times of your life. The potential that is; this isn’t a guarantee. Hehe. But it’s a two sided dagger; the other side being you can have the best time alone with ‘The One’. No friends. Just you two. And I’m not trying to be dirty – nothing remotely sexual can happen and it can still be just as freakin’ awesome or even better! Not that I would be speaking from experience, I’m a good, innocent boy. Remember?

Love is that special feeling you get when you think about or are with that certain person. Some feel an overpowering need to protect the ones they love, some feel intense affection, some feel for the person they love, some others feel other things, and most people a bit of all of them! Every person feels love slightly differently, but all very simliar.
You know your in love when you are lying in bed, at about 3am. You can’t sleep for some unknown reason. It’s dark. Suddenly, the thought of your lover comes into mind. You start thinking of all the wonderful things you’ve done with her. Memories you’ve shared. Secrets you’ve exposed to them. Your naked soul; your inner being; the real you hidden behind the wall that is self confidence. And you start smiling. Here you are, alone, in the dark, the world around you in a deep sleep. And your smiling. That’s the power of love. That’s what it can do. Just the thought of them forces a great smile to stretch across your face.
